Interesting that a South African is teaching this. Are we the only place still using Delphi in schools? It’s very inaccessible these days since it’s expensive where you can get alternatives like C# or Java for free.

Hi Gerhard. Love your videos. They have been an invaluable tool. Can I ask you something. If I have a list box and I use and edit to input values in the lstbox.items.add(x), how do I get the new added value to stay in the list box once the program exits and the new value should be there at the re-run. Everytime I add a new item, it is there in run time, but when I close the window and re-open/re-run the new add object is no more. Samanthap84@gmail.com
