Delphi Programming Tutorial – Unit 8.7 – Calling a Delphi Object’s Methods

Delphi Programming Tutorial – Unit 8.7 – Calling a Delphi Object’s Methods:

In this video, we take the lessons learned from Unit 8.6 (Understanding a Delphi Object’s Methods) and implement them into our Contact Information program. It is important to watch the previous video tutorial (Unit 8.6) until the end!

This tutorial (Delphi Programming Tutorial – Unit 8.7 – Calling a Delphi Object’s Methods) demonstrates how to use the Clear method on TEdits and a TRichEdit, and how to call the SetFocus method to move the focus to a TEdit.

We also change a few properties in code, but that is just some extra code to complete this this tutorial – we change properties to reset the rest of our objects that changed, back to their original states.
