In 7:09 when you mention arrays, if the code stated (“hello “ + args[0] +args[1]) would the out put then be “hello Caleb sally”?

Edward Alexander says:

Unfortunately, I too am unable, even with the help of StackOverflow and Google, to run this file in CMD on Windows 10.

I have changed the Environment Variables of _JAVA_OPTIONS to -Xmx1024M

I am likely not typing in the command correctly, as I get several different error messages depending on how I type it in:
1. java MyFirstJavaProgram = Error: Could not find or load main class MyFirstJavaProgram
2. java -MyFirstJavaProgram =
Error: could not create a Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

I’ve worked for about 30 minutes to try and get it top work, and no avail. Perhaps, a lecture on Windows for the lameducks?

Ziko Prog says:

good teaching man

Fantastic Ghosts says:

Which is best book to learn Python? @caleb

Benjamin Chilson says:

These videos are great. I know how to program in C, but am choosing to learn Java to explore different types of projects. The teaching is very straight forward and I appreciate the explanations of why things work rather than what most articles and videos do which is rush through information or just straight-up tell you what to type, which isn’t teaching anything.

Danny Israel says:

I find “properties” to be a confusing name for storing something…

Aqib Khwaja says:

Taruna Rachmad says:

Camilla Pantoja says:
