Veche says:

As I was taking watching, I went back and started taking notes on everything because even just this one video is a lot to learn from.
Here are my notes:

// Notes:
// Eclipse does not have intellisense, It does not tell you what to type and does not have automatic case correction.
// Eclipse contains a semicolon and curly brace structure, which helps keep things organized.
// “class” where all code is stored
// “public” can be accessed anywhere in its certain .java file.
// “Tutorial” is the class name.
// “{” opens the class.
// “}” closes the class.
// “main void” or “main static” executes the program and tells it what to do as soon as it starts up.
// “static” code will not interact with objects.
// “void” code will not return values; it will only execute.
// “main” name of it.
// “()” Parameters/arguments.
// Can declare what these agreements are going to be by typing (String[] args);
// “System.out” tells the system to output something.
// “println” is the thing that we actually print.
// The end of every command requires a semicolon, which tells the system it the end of the line.
// Variables are items that can be manipulated and are constantly manipulated throughout the program of Java.
// “String” declares a variable that is a string; it holds actual text.
// Anything after “String” is the name of the string.
// “=” is what the variable equals/means.
// Backslashes declare symbols such as $,#, ” etc. without interfering with the code.
// “n” declares a new line.
