Ryerson University – Advanced MATLAB Tutorial – Part 1

This was a tutorial I gave at Ryerson University on February 6th, 2012 on advanced MATLAB programming. Some of the basics are covered first for self-containment but more advanced topics such as plotting 3D surfaces, using the symbolic mathematics toolbox effectively and solving differential equations are covered.

In this first part, basic MATLAB syntax is covered such as array and matrix manipulation, creating function handles and plotting graphs.
